DR. JEFF DEYOUNG, D.C., C.C.S.P. - FUNCTIONAL HEALTH NETWORK PARTNERThe Functional Health Institute is a national network of specially trained, independent healthcare practitioners who promote prevention, and wellness in their clinic, using functional, integrative and nutritional approaches with their patients.
These practitioners also work with their community of corporations, fitness centers, schools for adolescent sports physicals and churches by holding events, such as the proprietary “Prevention & Wellness Open House” that excites, educates and empowers people to take control of their health. This “taking control of their health” is accomplished by having patients learn how to have correct food habits to support healthy blood sugar and body composition, while correcting functional imbalances before they become disease conditions, and ensuring the root cause of symptoms are addressed.
Dr. Jeff DeYoung, D.C., C.C.S.P. has over 28 years of experience and is a certified chiropractic sports practitioner, so not only is he very effective at treating your neck, back and related symptoms, he is also very effective and experienced at treating shoulder and upper extremity, as well as lower extremity symptoms and injuries. He uses hands on diversified adjustment techniques, as well as ArthroStim. He also utilizes therapeutic modalities such as muscle stimulation, ultrasound, intersegmental traction and teaches rehabilitative exercises to be performed at home or the gym. What you won't get is a high pressure technique or contracts. No extended report of findings. Just great chiropractic care here in South Austin.

After graduating, Dr. Sean was able to move to Austin, TX with his family. While in Austin, he began working at Dell Children’s Hospital for the next couple of years before discovering his love for chiropractic. He was then accepted to Parker University in Dallas, where he pursued his doctorate in chiropractic care. Dr. Sean again had the opportunity to come back to Austin and serve at the VA Outpatient Clinic where he was able to provide chiropractic care to our veterans.
Family has always been very important to Dr. Sean and moving back to Austin has given him the ability to be close to his family. Sean and his wife have a little boy named Finley that holds their attention anytime they are not working. The future is very bright for Dr. Sean and his family.
