Chiropractor - Dr. Jeff DeYoung, D.C., C.C.S.P. - No contracts here!

The Functional Health Institute is a national network of specially trained, independent healthcare practitioners who promote prevention, and wellness in their clinic, using functional, integrative and nutritional approaches with their patients.

These practitioners also work with their community of corporations, fitness centers and churches by holding events, such as the proprietary “Prevention & Wellness Open House” that excites, educates and empowers people to take control of their health. This “taking control of their health” is accomplished by having patients learn how to have correct food habits to support healthy blood sugar and body composition, while correcting functional imbalances before they become disease conditions, and ensuring the root cause of symptoms are addressed.

Dr. Jeff DeYoung, D.C., C.C.S.P. has over 28 years of experience and is a certified chiropractic sports practitioner, so not only is he very effective at treating your neck, back and related symptoms, he is also very effective and experienced at treating shoulder and upper extremity, as well as lower extremity symptoms and injuries. He uses hands on diversified adjustment techniques, as well as ArthroStim. He also utilizes therapeutic modalities such as muscle stimulation, ultrasound, intersegmental traction and teaches rehabilitative exercises to be performed at home or the gym. What you won't get is a high pressure technique or contracts. No extended report of findings. Just great chiropractic care here in South Austin.

Dr. DeYoung graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1991. He became a certified sports physician in 1994 after taking 120 hours of post graduate courses and passing a nationally certified test.  Dr. DeYoung had also been certified to perform manipulation under anesthesia in 2002.

Prior to moving to Austin in 2018, Dr. DeYoung worked for 5 years as the Medical Director of a multidisciplinary office specializing in pain management where he was recruited to run the therapy department as well as assist the medical doctors in the diagnosis and treatment plan of patients.  Before being recruited to move back to California,  Dr. DeYoung had a successful family practice in Gainesville, Georgia for 8 years.
